Starting body work on Saturday
There are some dents, going to pull and fill, smooth out, etc. Should be able to paint the car soon.

Update:
Drivers side is pretty much finished for any major body work...

Picked up the rear bumper last week, test fit.

A little bit off but better than it was.

Just need to swap out the crap hood latch for a different one, Connect the hood latch cable, get a battery. New VC gasket & seals, New spark plugs.

The door had quite a bit of un-necessary bondo all over it for a slight wave in the door. Used a very thin coat of filler to fill it in.. it sucked in the primer big time.. Why?

Finally gathered all the wiring I need.. Will be progressing on other parts of the car whenever the weather gets better. Picked up a 5Zigen muffler as well.

Thanks for the support

Heading down to T.O tomorrow to a friends shop where he is going to fix my cracked header and weld the muffler onto the existing exhaust pipe. Looking forward to having another part of the car done. Should be able to fire in a new windshield soon. Body work is still on hold until the weather clears up more.

Exhaust is done and back on..

Was hoping it would sit nice and flush with the bumper and not stick out passed it and I got away with it. Looks like it's sticking way out in the last picture but it's not at all Wicked fit..

Well, I came across yet another really great deal and couldn't pass it up. So I picked these up last night! Friend of mine is going to weld these on for me Even though they are kind of the opposite of what I needed per side, The drivers side needs just the arch but the pass. side needs the full quarter, i'll probably just get pieces adapted from what I don't use from the full quarter. Can't wait to get these on!

I didn't want to ghetto rig with fiberglass and bondo. I don't like doing it cheap. The car has had enough bondo abuse.

I'll admit, I was going the bondo route and even though the drivers side quarter was all bondo glass with metal held on with rivets, it took forever to do. I enjoyed it but I knew deep down I was being a cheap *** and it was going to bite me in the *** sooner than later, and I really didn't want to go that route. So.. lesson learned, advice taken.. Doing it the right way!

They look the best modded. Very JDM look.

Although stock I think FA and FD's look the best. Glad I got my Si.

Turns out my friend can't make it up this weekend to weld the panels on.. fml. Oh well, on a brighter note, Their are still things that need work so it's not like I'll have nothing to do for the next little while. It was also brought to my attention that the full quarter I have is for a 2DR coupe... so perhaps I can swing something while I wait.

Began working on the tail gate over the weekend... Could have just found one with less problems but I thought it would be fun to see what I could do with this one..

Went after the larger problem areas with bondo glass..

Current state after sanding..

In the process of shaving the keyhole, the glass looks weird.. but so far it's working.

This isn't going to be a show piece so I am not super concerned about the quality of this job. It'll be replaced with CF in the nearer future I'm sure.

Where-oh-where did you get those rear quarters????????

I've been looking for a place to get a set (both sides) of the rear fenders/quarters for my wife's 94 accord wagon...

I bought them from a guy in Kitchener, and I believe he said he ordered them online..

www.fixmyrust.com is where I was going to initially order mine from, prices seem pretty decent I think?
