My New EG
 

Well..
What can I say? I still have my MX6 and plan to keep it but after many years of wanting an EG.. I can finally say I bought one! :D I am picking it up on Friday.

So.. Now I have two projects on the go but the Honda will be "done" much faster than the MX6 I am sure.

280,000kms on body & engine (D series 1.3L SOHC..I think) - Engine is blown -
Manual Transmission (Mint)
Sunroof
1995 Hatch
Manual Everything (Windows, Seats, Mirrors, etc.)
Ebay Header
Magnaflow Cat-Back Exhaust
Tein Springs

It's in rough shape but the under body is mint, some rust starting to show it's ugly face on the rear quarters but it's not as bad as I expected. It's basically a rolling shell for the most part.

First thing I am going to do is strip whatever is left on the car, and basically sit it as a shell/frame on blocks and start sorting/parting. It'll be an exciting build and I am looking forward too it. Will post progress pics as I go of course.

good choice getting a eg! they are the best civics and good luck with the build!:)

Not to sound mean but.... you actually paid money for a crumpled, rusty EG civic with a blown motor ??

Ya right.
EG is a watered-down, heavier hatch, with airbags....

EF is 'thee' Honda hatch to own. :)

Okay so I was wrong about a few things..

It is a CX Model not the DX
The motor is not blown but it is burning oil and ticking.

Timing belt, waterpump, etc. were replaced recently.
