I don't how much you adjust or **** around with those headlights. They're still going to glare, I've been blinded enough by them to reach that conclusion.

I love mine...no one ever seems to give me an indication of glare or etc. Even on cruises.

What's the difference when you go higher in K's, is it the brightness? color? surrounding area of light? Do share.

technically, kelvin rating does not determine the brightness since it is the color temperature. its the lumen (lu) that makes it more or less bright.

a standard halogen bulb produces 800-1700 lumens and in contrast...an HID setup will be around 2400-3200 lu (average range) so upto three times or more. where a 6000K falls in that range will vary from one manufacturer to the other. halongen filaments naturally produce a color of 2300K to 4000K (2300K is yellowish, 4000K is whitish) while HID produces a natural color of 4100K to 6000K (4100K is daylight white, and 6000K is slightly bluish white.

so basically...

Lower the Kelvin = Higher the Lumen = Brighter Light
