Changed my own oil on my wifes 2001 4 door civic, although im not sure how to reset the Maintence Required Light, Could anyone tell me how to do this?

The procedure is in your owners manual

but generally:

Hold down the odo/trip meter, the one that lets you toggle from trip A/B and outside temp., for a few seconds while turning the key to ON position, then let go when the maintenance light turns off.

It took me a couple of tries to get it to work but that's the way. ez breezee....unlike my bmw...

hold down the rite side reset button. turn ignition switch on, the lite will flash. when the lite stop flashing rturn the ignition off and let go the button and ur done

Although, i tried both methods above and the dam light is still on.. is there any other way to accomplish turning this light off besides removing the bulb LOL
