Speedometer won't work
#3
Being that it's a 5th gen and many people have had this happen (myself included), I'm going to say it's your gauge itself. I replaced my VSS and that didn't fix the problem, replaced the actual speedometer and that fixed it.
If it is your VSS, I have a used one available for sale.

if it was a vss sensor you should through a cel with the vss code if it were the gauge it most likely would'nt put the engine light on just borough a cluster from someone and put it in and if it works you know where to get started.
