Speedometer won't work

Speedometer won't work

could somebody tell me why my speedometer doesn't work, or how i can fix the thing. sometimes it works, but i'm usually guessing how fast i'm going.

help please!!!

Being that it's a 5th gen and many people have had this happen (myself included), I'm going to say it's your gauge itself. I replaced my VSS and that didn't fix the problem, replaced the actual speedometer and that fixed it.

If it is your VSS, I have a used one available for sale.

if it was a vss sensor you should through a cel with the vss code if it were the gauge it most likely would'nt put the engine light on just borough a cluster from someone and put it in and if it works you know where to get started.

what is a vss sensor andd where is it located? Drew doesnt know what ui guys are talking about so describe how to get it out an dwhat it looks like.
