Interior LED Lighting Question

Hey guys, i want to replace the stock lights above the cluster in my car (so basically the cluster lights that light up the speedometer gas temp gauge etc... not the ones behind, but rather the ones above) do those use leds? or normal bulbs?

if they use bulbs can i replace them with LED'z anyway with no modification to the actual little tiny harnesses they are in?

and one more question can the socket that the bulbs fit into take LED'z?......is it just plug and play with any type of LED??

Alright thanks.....so i need to do a bit of wiring.....ahh easy enough.......i was just wondering cause i wanna know how long it would take me to do this........i dunno how i'm gonna do this for the light on the right side of the cluster......lol there are no wires leading to it...........it gets it'z power from the circuit board....or w/e it'z called..........the one on the left side is easy cause there are wires and stuff.........that i can easily tap into.....or modify......

Where can I find the bulb condoms (or balloon as I heard them being referred to)? I'd like to get some for H3 bulbs for fog lights. Anyone?

GLOWING NEEDLES

Does anyone know how you can make the speedo/tach needles glow RED like the ones in the picture above? Does anyone know what parts need to be used to do that?

Any links to a DIY site?

Thanks.

If you swap to LED's you need to add a resistor to limit the current.... If you just put an LED where the bulb was, you will burn it.
