both my speedometer and odometer do not work.

this has been going on for about a week now ever since it rained (monday), and i kinda drove thru a large puddle.

somebody has told me the vehicle speed sensor contacts were probably wet.

I tried to locate the sensor with no luck, then the problem went away as it got nice out (thurs. & fri.) then, now that ths fu*king snow is here, its gone dead again...

can someone tell me where the sensor is located?

i know its on the transaxel, but by the looks of it, there are 2 or three of them there... there is one with 2 exposed wires, and one large wire that i thought was the sensor, but i couldnt manage to get it free (didnt try too hard) if anyone can help me, i appreciate it.
