HI, new to this.... If any one know if i would need to modify my civic if i install the Infinity Kappa 693.5i 6x9 and 6.5 3-Way speaker on a '98 civic
cause i been told by some people for the infinity kappa speaker to be install on a '98 civic some modify may be needed please help..... need some advice thanks

kappa 6x9's will fit in your rear deck...the kappa 6.5's might not fit in your door cuz the magnets is huge..which is why i just went reference instead...install these sometimes and the speaker is huge so it just takes a little effort to get em to fit right...but depth will be an issue so you will need a spacer for your door so that the magnet doesn't hit the window

Yes, you will need a spacer. I made my out of 1/2 MDF. if your speakers instal flush (do not stand out from the panel once instaled), you can even use a 3/4 thicknes. For the front two doors it will take you no more than 30 min.
You can get a sheet of MDF from Home Depot for $10. You will also need a saw, if you do not have one you can rent it for $15 (4hrs).
