Component speaker installation

Hey guys, I got myself a component set from Kaption Audio (6.5's, tweets and Xover). I was just wondering the best place to install them. I want to have them so that they are not noticeable. I was thinking of putting the 6.5's in the factory position (I'll prolly make O-rings out of MDF). I plan to get M3 mirrors and place the tweets where the manual lever would have been (I will not be installing manual levers for the M3 mirrors). What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Sounds like a pretty clean setup. I'm planning on doing the same thing....minus the m3 mirror change (gonna paint my baby before I do anything to the exterior)

Best is to place the tweeter as close to the woofer as possible.

Where would you suggest to put tweeters?

Although they kind of stixck out, you can surfae mount them ont he door near the speaker grill aimed towards the listener. I had them on my speaker grills aimed towards me, although it was a good idea, they kinda stuck out and could get kicked off the door by someones feet.

There is no "set" place you need to put them, just a guidline. PLay around with the locations, use some double sided tape or soemthign and experiemtn and see which you like best?

you can also try http://www.sounddomain.com/member_pages to get some ideas on what others did in their Civics.
