it has been done... seems to be done via rail swap.

Really?? i have a 95 civic si coupe
I thought they would just bolt right on, or change the rail just like Midori said... not even the Type-S seats fit properly??, you have to make these mods?

They are NOT bolt on.
The front rails need modifications and its a bitch. I personally think they are uncomfortable in an Eg because you sit too high.

Also the rears wont fit a Eg coupe.

I've installed RSX leathers in an EG and a 96 Integra GSR, which if I remember correctly have the same mounting points, or very similar in the front but the rears are the same. Anyways the RSX's will go in, but not without a fight. You have to weld on rail extensions in the front seats and make new mounting points in the rear. It can be done but you need to weld. It isn't easy and unless you do it yourself it isn't cheap.

P.s. that link is for an EK, not an EG. The mount points are different.

I installed RSX seats in my EG. It really isn't difficult if you have the right tools and enough time, Those links give you a basic idea. There's no welding required!, the hardest part is removing the front mounts from the RXS rails as the rivots are a biatch, then remove the front mounts from your old seats and bolt them up to the RSX rails. You can also make your own front mounts and measure it out exactly which isn't dificult either, just need to drill in holes into bent piece of metal. I never got a chance to modify the rear seats, but they DO NOT directly fit into an EG coupe and do require modification to the rear plastic armrests. Also don't forget to swap the seat belt clips from your old seats to your new RSX seats as the clips are different. This was probably the best mod I did to my interior and they do sit a little higher then the stock seats but are 100 times more comfortable and look amazing as well. Good luck.

When you say no welding required, did you leave yours like that?, with just with the metal?...

no welding as in you don't have to weld the mounts to the rails, just properly bolt them on.
