i think they look gay personally... cause they are kinda designed like a racing seat, but still far from it... and then you put them in a car and from far ppl see racing seat and are like "oh, cool" then they get up close and see its not even a racing seat, just fakes the look of one and are very disappointed. lol. plus, for the money, get some imitation recaros or something... you can get them for like 300 a pair and they are decent.

or get at least itr recaros or something of the sort, they are more functitonal and look sooo good ini eks!!!

He's right. Sit in your car and imagine this. Would it bother you? If not then go for it! I think they look good in EKs, waaaaay more comfy!

You do know the stock seats are from Recaro right?

A lot of RSX owners use harnesses on their stock seats, Acura/Honda must've done something right...

I love the RSX seats. I think they look great. Who cares if they are not actual racing seats. I say as long as you like them, and they are comfortable, then you should get them. If you are afraid that the rears will sit higher, then get a place that will re-wrap your stock rear seats in leather. Just make sure they have a similar colour, and can make a similar design on the stitch patterns on the seats.

Just make sure you get leather seats in the rear. I've seen many 7thgens civics with rsx fronts, and stock civic rear seats (not re-wrapped). Its gay if you do it like that. I know you won't do that though.

i just did this tonight. put the rsx leathers into my ek hatch

they do sit an inch or so higher. cuz the *** part of the seat doesnt slope down like the stock ones.

but, i had to take the stock ones out. my back on long drives was killing me.

it's worth it. do it. I bought the seats and installed them, and now have NO regrets.

the support is great, nice and firm without being toooo solid, and they look mint.

they are "bigger" in stature (wider and the backs are higher) than your stock - but it's worth it. no regrets. i'll snap a picture or 2 in the am of them and post it up.

imo, do it up. if YOU like them, then do it. don't worry about what others on here think..hell, some people on here still like altezza tail lights. hahahahahahah

rsx seats in EK hatches FTW!!!

Anybody know if the RSX rear seats will fit in an EK coupe? And what is needed to make the fronts fit in an EK?

fronts are just a bracket swap Brian..like Buddah's '02 SiRs
the rears are highly unlikely...you're prob looking at a wrap job

those arent 05-06 ones tho... those are the older 02-04 seats. i have the 05-06's in my EK hatch and they are very comfortable but do sit a bit higher... there are ways to drop them down a bit tho. all in all its worth it IMO.
