I Need to know how you hook up the remote wire for the amp, to turn it on and off.

Also, does it run on AC or DC??

It's a Jenson amp

For my previous amp, i did not run a remote wire and i used a switch for the power wire to turn it on and off.

But with this amp, it wont turn on when I run the power to it only. So i'm trying to run the remote wire, i connected it to the blue wire from the deck and nothing still happens. It's driving me up the wall.

If you have a multi meter, nows a good time to use it

Check to make sure the wire on the deck is the remote turn on, and not power antenna.

Use your multi meter to check to see if 12v comes out when yopu hook it up to the remote wire and turn on your deck.

If it doens't work you might have fried the remote turn on circuit on the head unit.

If so just tap into the cigerett lighter, there switched for 12v when the ca ris off.
