hi i have a pioneer car amp and it stopped working so i took it all apart and this chip thing is busted its one of the ones at are atached 2 the side because they get hot i think

are you sure thats the only thing thats fried?

take it to a place that repairs amps, most of them have free estimated and will tell you exactly whats wrong.

Trust me dude, its a pioneer amp its not worth fixing. I work along side a car audio repair man and just to buy the IC's and have them installed on the circuit board would likely be more or close to the cost of a new amp.

thrill_house is right, usually cheaper amps arent worth fixing.

but if this amp only needs one chip or maybe a few then its cool, however i doubt that, i think itll need more

i looked on all the surkid boards and this is the only one thats ****ed its black and all splitting from the heat


i was told i made the pos and the - toutch but it was inside not outside

and it melted this chip


yea its totaly not worth the charge its like 130$ for the guy 2 fix it 4 me thats why i figured id spend 2cence on a pos rezistor or some **** and try it myself and if i **** it up o well its busted anyways
