I just picked up a set of Fusion fps-652 front speakers. I went to install them but have run into trouble with the clearance. The speaker will not sit flush where the stock one did, if I remove the back of the black bracket the speaker will interfere with my window opening and closing.

What kind a spacer can I use? Should I use the stock speaker mounting bracket? Anyone that has run into problems like this before please help me out. I can't wait to get these working.

Try washers....

Or better yet thick rubber grommets...

Should help with your clearance prob...

I'm looking at about a 1/2" gap to fill, i don't think washers will do the trick maybe rubber grommets though. hhhmm
