fuse always pops

Anyone have any ideas on why my fuse keeps popping. Every night that I drive the fuse for my tailights and instrumental cluster lights go out which is quite dangerous and it's always the fuse that pops. Probably lasts a few hours and that's it I have to keep putting new ones in all the time. Right now it's a 10 Amp would a 15 Amp help or will it send to much current and possible fry up the harness. I was also thinking a short but where . Any ideas would be greatley appreciated.

Thanx

Is 10 amp to spec for that circuit?

Id say you have a short somewhere, it might even be so unnoticeable but draw just a bit more current which would take awhile for the fuse to blow.

Do you have any wires spliced or tapped into that you did on your car?

yes the correct amperage for the tails is 10. The only wiring that has been modded with that entire harness is the one for the licence plate lights so i'll check that out. Thanx

I ripped my entire harness apart and rear bumper and found out for the wiring of the license plate lights a couple of wires were a bit burned from something and they were exposed a bit so I rewired that up and i'll find out tonight how long the fuse lasts and pray that I solved the problem
