Every time it rains, wipers start auto. and wont stop on 1990 prelude

hey there ,

everytime it rains , the wipers start to come on and wont stop. i have no clue what it is , and the hand brake lights come on..

any help would be great ..

what they just come on without u putting them on? or u put them on and the wont turn off?

i dont know about the hand break light thats kinda crappy but some ppl pay extra for there cars wipers to come on auto when it starts to rain . lol ur a lucky man

but it wont stop even wen it stops raining..it'll stay on for a few days after ...

and i'm tired of getting new wiper blades

guess some wiring is shorting out when it gets wet? not sure about preludes but i know some cars have wiper relays[if not all] look into that. it could be the reason. when it gets wet or it gets any type of moisture it starts messing around. GL
