crossover question

ok i have two identical amps to power a set of 12's....neither amp has a crossover built in...so should i use one crossover between the deck output and split it to 2 sets of rca (one ot each amp)...or get two crossovers and put them before/after each amp??

How powerful are the amps?
Does your deck have a sub out RCA connection?
And you could get away with splitting with a Y connector after the crossover, before the amp.

the amps are each 150x1 rms (i bridged each one)...my deck has a sub preout...which i put into the cross over....and then split it to the inputs on each of the amps.....just wondering if it'd be noticeably better to go with two crossovers- one to each amp.....thanks

YOu would have more frequency control with a Xover, but with a subpre out it is not neccesary.
