So basically my problem is i bought my car with the a Panasonic deck already installed in it, and a while back i went to see if the tape player worked and it didnt, i was told by a friend then when the person installed the deck they probably did not hook up the tape player or something

well i went out tonight and bought an adapter for my car for my Ipod and its one of the ones they plugs into the Aux. outlet and into the ipod and charges and plays the ipod, well my problem is it charges the ipod but doesnt not play anything, my deck has three options Radio, CD, and Aux. so i figured to put it one Aux but still nothing!

im just wondering if something else might not be hooked up because i know the device works and the outlet because it charges the ipod

Does your deck have an aux on and off input? Go through your decks menu and see if has an internal on, off.

would it be called internal? ive gone through the menu and all the buttons and what not and didnt see anything like that, it also doesnt help that i have no instructions or anything
