Calling all LEAFS fans...
So what do you guys think of our chances this year? Looks like it's going to be the Devils 
again for us! Out of all the teams in the eastern conference the devils are going to be the toughest. I suppose if we manage to get past them, we'll more than likely be in the Cup finals.
I just hope all the injuries clear up by then. We're gonna really need ppl like Roberts and Yushcevich if we're going to make a run for it.
But we got close last year and i think this team is much better...just worried about those damn devils!:working:

Yeah I agree man I'd much rather face a team of floaters like Ottawa or the Islanders. Actually i think if the Islanders beat Philly tomorrow they will move ahead of NJ for the the 5th seed and face the Leafs in the 1st round. I'm pulling for the Islanders tomorrow. 
NJ's key players: Neidermeyer, Stevens, Holik, Elias, Niuewendyk, Rafalski, Brodeur - all top quality players with playoff experience and Cups. Broduer and Nieuwendyk could cause give us alot of problems, these guys are so clutch.
Islanders' key players: Peca, Yashin, Parrish, Osgood. Peca's a dominant force, Yashin is also when he wants to be, but if history is any indication Yashin will disappear once the 1st round begins. Parrish has been good all season but has little to no experience in the playoffs, and Osgood is a bit washed up, although he does have a couple rings from his Detroit days.
Yushkevich seems to be the only injured leaf that won't be ready for the 1st round. It should be a good playoff... we've got a lot of god players who can fill in if someone goes down with an injury.

Yes if The Isles beat the Flyers 2morrow the will finish 5th. I am not worried about any of the teams in the east, they are all preety equal and should all be great series. I just hope the Leafs make it through and anyone can win a 7 game series in the final.

if not, then lets go to shoeless joes for the games!...woodbine/steeles...they got a 2 for 1 chicken wings special on game nights!!!

yeah looks like it's the isles not the devils! I didnt think that NY would actually WANT to beat philly (since they'd play caroline if they lost).
oh well, they have yashin, we'll win for sure!! haha

Isles will probably be easier if they just put corson on Yashin for the series like they did when he was in Ottawa..
But it's not all that easy.. The season series was 3-1-0 in favour of the Islander this season.. They beat the leafs 3 times and lost once.. So who knows how this series will go. I'm pretty sure leafs have the upper hand though..
