ok the visual alarm on/off still works, but the chirp that goes with it doesnt.. wut could be the problem?, and the LED alarm indicator in the car stays PERMANENTLY on when the car is off and it turns off when the car is on, no more blinking

by chance did you get yourself into valet mode?

easy test.. arm your car.. and open the door with the key... if the alarm doesn't go off... you're in valet mode

you might've just triggered two buttons to arm and disarm your car silently or like sam said, you could be in valet mode.

I have compustar and i'm able to silent the remote and silent the car.

Valet mode dude. My alarm does that.

There should be a hidden valet button somewhere, if you hit it while you were driving it'll dissarm the car.
