Alarm
What is the difference between alarms using the 433MHz frequency and 900Mhz frequency? Will using the 433MHz frequency be better cuz 900MHz is already populated with phones, etc?
What do you think"?

imo it'll be better to use the 900Mhz cuz' it uses a higher frenquency range...like a house phone. a 2.4 Ghz phone(more clearer and longer distant usage) is better than 900Mhz. its just common sense to me but i could be wrong haaaaa

higher the frequency...longer the range but 433 is good enough IMO. I have a two way 433Mhz system and i park at the GO which is like 5 minutes away from my apartment. We are on a higher floor with no buildings as tall as ours b/w us and the Go station.
I start my car with the starter the moment im off of the train...it beeps and my wife tells me the her alarm (the 2nd one at home) also beeps so she knows that im back.
we have a single level parking floor and i can start my car from the 10th floor with the remote starter feature...so its pretty good.

Just wondering does anyone know where to get combo alarm/starter, just the unit only for a great price?
And I know this guy selling a supposedly brand new CompuStar 2WAM900FMAS for 300 flat. Should I go for it?

If I get the unit for 300 bucks and get it installed by you for 100 buckaroos then it would be a total of 400, saving me ~ $30 dollars.
Heh.
