The PG7 (89 integra) ecu is supposed to be the best ecu but i can't find it anywhere! should i just get the Pm6 or PM7 instead? Also...will i have to switch my wiring harness regardless of what ecu i get? i dont know shyt about computer stuff!

There are three ECUs from which to choose from. They are listed here in order of preference.



1) PM7 (JDM ECU) - This was the original ECU for the imported DOHC ZC. It has a speed limiter set at 112 MPH, though. How often do you hit those types of speeds, though.



2) PG7 ('89 Integra) - This is a great ECU for this engine. Some will say that it tends to make the engine run a little bit rich. Make sure you get the ECU from a 5 speed.



3) PM6 ('90-91 CRX Si) - This era of CRX ECUs have more aggressive fuel and timing curves than that of the previous years. These ECUs should be cheap and easy to find.


given that these are all older ECUs, it means wiring changes will be a must.

you can get any of those ecu's chipped with teh correct zc program...it your car still obd1 or was it converted to obd...if it is still obd 1 tehn maybe get a p28 computer and have it chipped...you ecu adn tranny are killing you...with the right tranny adn ecu you would kick the **** outta a si seeing how your motor has a better power band and your car is lighter...

yeah, it's american, but who cares... you get him to send USPS and you pay GST and brokerage ($5 with USPS) on like a $40 part that's impossible to find here! It's worth it... say it costs you $120, it's prolly the the single best improvement you can do for your swap.

ZC Vtec are JDM d16z6

Same engine they just gave them a diff eng id number becasue these engines were built in Japan. sooo parts for a d16z6 work with the vtec zc

ok funny thing is, he cannot run any of those ecu's his car is OBD1 not obd0, and that is what all those ecu's are.....


p28 will work with a custom bin file,

and as far as zc vtec, I they are stamped d16a1 (rare) and not the usdm dohc integra motor, and d15b.
