winter tire information

hi all,

I have a 98 civic si, I don't think the guy I bought them from put the right size tires on.

where can I get information on what size tires I need?

I wish to get winter tires. The rims are stock.

Thanks,
Bruce

185/65/14 is the stock size of your tires. There is a thread regarding snow tires already.

i don't want to add another post regarding the same question, but i'm wondering if 195/60/15 will fit on my car

i drive a 1992 civic hatch
its not stock height, it has a 1" drop
and my rims are 15"

my summer tires are 205/50/15 and there's about 2 finger space...
now i'm running all-season 195/55/15 with roughly 1.5 finger space, however the all-season sux when there's heavy snow, so i'm going for winters..
the question is, will 195/60/15 snow tires fit my car? would it rub the fender? the tire guy say 60 should be fine even with a 1" lowered, but i'm worry when i go on bumps and ramps, the car will bounce and the fender will hit the tire, would that happen?
i had 65/15 put on before to measure the finger space, and there's only like 1/2 a finger space and my friend say he sees it rub when i get off the driveway.

can you guys help me out asap because i'm getting the tires and installed this weekend?

thanks!!!
