where is the bump stop??

where is the bump stop??

my car makes a klunkin noise everytime i hit a bump.. i know springs are too stiff..

i am changing the springs to tein s techs tomorrow and i wanna cut my bump stop as well..

where can i find it and how do i take it off?

Are you still on your stock struts? Then "klunkin" noise your are hear is liklely a blown strut and cutting the bumpstops won't fix that.

Anyway...
The bump stop is a foam piece that goes around the rod part of the strut, under the dust boot near the top. If you take apart you springs/struts you will see it. #11 on the diagram.

And the instructions that come with your springs should mention in the directions who much to cut off. Usually the bottom one or two sections.
