Bump Stop in rear!

I am lowering my car and wanted to know if i needed to cut my bump stops in the rear. It's a 94 civic Si. Also if I need to cut them, how do I remove the dust covers from the shock to get to the bump stop. Thanks

Lightbulb ?

no need for rear shocks, only need to cut the front ones by one round.
u need to compress the coil spring, remove the shock top mount, bolt, bushings to get to it. Be careful if u need to use a spring compressor!!!

Thanks alot for the help. The problem that I have was to actually remove the dust covers. I had the whole shock assembly out of the car and everything that wasn't a problem. But I figure it out. Their is some sort of sleeve sitting on top of the rear dust covers that had seezed on due to calcium build up and rust. I finally broke it loose and everything went well after that. Thanks for the help again.
