Wheel Issue..

Hey Guys,

I was home over the xmas holidays and I went to go and check out my wheels in the basement. I notice one of them didnt have air. I pumped up the tire and did the ol soap and water thing and noticed I had a very slow leak on the inside of my rim where the tire meets the wheel.

Anyone ever have this issue and are there anyways in solving this problem?

Thanks.

could mean that the wheel is bent a tiny bit.
take it to a shop that specializes in tires and rims and then have them re-balance the tire and wheel and then see if it helps.
they would know what to do.

Is it an alloy rim? If so alloy rims tend to corrode around the inner beads causing them to leak over time. Very simple to fix, they just clean the corrosion from the rim and reseat the tire.

Yes, that's what they mean. Getting it resealed with bead sealer.

Any proper tire shop should re-balance the tire if they do, if they don't, make sure they do. Anytime a tire is taken off the rim, it should be re-balanced.
