Hello TCC,

Just wondering if anyone else has this really weird issue with their OEM alarms. My car's alarm will suddenly just go off without reason, I know this because I have watched it sitting on the driveway. With lights and horn honking. This morning it has gone off at 6am and i was forced to unplug the negative cable from the battery to shut it off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Had the exact same proble with my EG factory alarm. Must be a short somewhere. What I noticed is that when my dome light is switched to go on when doors are open position, alarm will go off after a short time. But when dome light is switched to the off position, it doesn't. Weird, I know...

actually w/ my accord it turns out it was the HOOD LATCH switch

check that as well.....
