Vtec Lag?

First of All
Happy new year to everyone!
but guess not a very happy new year for me
the problem is my Vtec kicks in at 5400 RPM
when it reaches to around 6500 RPM the vtec seems turned off
but the VAFC shows that the Vtec is still running
after 6500, the car has power again, like a second time Vtec kicks in, then when it gets to around 7300RPM, it lags again, and then third time Vtec kicks in
so...i guess this is what i call the Vtec Lags...
I installed a FPR recently...
tried to set the Pressure to 32-45
but didn't help the problem at all, so i guess its not beacuse of the FPR
is it possible the be the ECU problem? fuel pump? any idea people?

not the ecu, not the fuel pump

your vafc is setup wrong

also

clean your throttle body , makes a huge difference

throttle body cleaner at canadian tire $7 , chokes and cleans out your intake manifold and crap in it -in the intake manifold

isn't that vtec set a little low? what is stock vtec activation??? if it's too low you will lose power then feel it again when you are back in the power curve

VAFC's are junk i dont know why people waste time on them! Chip your ecu buy a burner and figure out how to use it, sell the vafc and PROFIT!!

You wired it wrong btw.. Your ecu is thinking 'no oil pressure' and your dont have the fuel maps, but your vafc is engaing vtec so it 'is' engaged but its just... ****.

goodluck.
