Clutch master cylinder repair help

Hey,

The clutch master cylinder is leaking on my 95 cx hatch and I need some help.

Before I take it appart what could be causing this? I figure it's just the resevoir hose or o-ring on the tube joint.

How do you bleed the system? I have the overhaul instructions from Honda UK but they don't have the bleeding procedure online.

Thanks

b

Replace the whole clutch master cylender they are only about 60$ for a new one. The oil seal is whats causing the leak, the piston shaft wears and so does the seal. Just change it and bleed it.

Thanks for all the help guys.

After further investigation I have found the cylinder isn't leaking. I cleaned it up and then inspected about a week later, no leaks.

I was told by a shop it needed replaced. I'd love to list who they are here but it's probably against the rules. Word to the wise you should check to see if the problem really exists before you let these pirates fix your car.
