Vtec controller advice
Hey guys,
I'm in the market for a vtec controller. I've narrowed it down to the Apexi-Vafc and the Field's SFC-Vtec. I'm leaning to the Field's because it looks lower tech - less to go wrong with it and looks easier to use.
Anyone have any experience with the 2 controllers? Advice appreciated.

2 rice 4 u is having all kinds of problems with the VAFC, but the likely suspect is the interface between the manual and the VAFC unit LOL you know... the one pushing the buttons j/k
I got an Apexi myself, but I'll use it to control 440 injectors, so I have an SAFC.

I've had a VAFC. I was able to tune 5whp and 3tq's from a relatively stock B16a with minor tweaks to fuel and engagement. Obviously more potential is exposed when a motor is more heavily modifed.
Not to bad in my opinion, but the novelty wears off quickly. Once tuned, it's not good to mess with the settings so it's essentially just a light show. Bling bling.
I'd save the money for a modest Hondata system if it is really tuning you want.
