valve adjustment tool
While getting frustrated trying to adjust the valves on my buddies b16 with a bent 10mm combination wrench and screw driver i stumbled upon a quite simple solution, other than buying the $$$ snap on tool.
Use a regular flat head screw driver with my craftsman GearRatchet. Since the gear ratchet has a hole through it, all of the sockets and even the extension i figured it would work perfectly as a homemade valve adjustment tool. In no way am i saying that i invented this b/c i am sure other people have done this before me. But i figured that i would inform everyone of how simple this made doing a valve adjustment on the b-series vtec engines.
The screwdriver sticks out enough to line it up with the slot in the jam nut then place the socket over top and it works the same way the snap on tool does.
Hope this helps someone someday.
