The program itself is pretty easy and user firendly. I'm not sure how many tuners have actually used it in the GTA but any competent tuner would be able to look at it and run with it.

I currently have Uber on my computer and play with it occasionally....pretty straigt forward.

Price is right too...

never seen Uberdata in action

Hondata, depends on the stage you own.

most ppl just call a Hondata dealer and say what they have, then they get a chip in the mail. If you have the higher versions like 4b or S400 (??) you can burn your own chips with a ROM editor... kinda like hacking satellite TV You write the program and put it on a chip. Hopefully you've socketed your ECU.

I just wanna know, why is there no OBD2 Hondata??

if you have stage 4 or higher (4 b b stands for boost) you can write your own fuel maps and stuff..... also you can program lower stages of the hondata system..

I'm thinking of getting one just to have fun with

because the actual microcontroller used in the OBD2 ECU's was never released to the public for use so the specs on the machine language used is not available ... so no one is able to get the stock program off of them....

yes because the microcontorllers used in those ECU's are publically available....

*edit* well not exactly .. see OBD1 ecu's have a chip that is publically available but seems to have had one instruction added to it's instruction set ... which is ok ... one instruction is easier to figure out then the whole set

yes and the electronics are for the most part stored in the cars and not subjected to the weather..... so older tech is still good...

Uberdata

Thats what I am going to be running.
Hell the program is free!!!

Anyways On Torontostreetracing.com, PM MarkofTSR, he does allot of tunning, anyways he knows Uberdata and can tune it for you, also T.O Tegs on this board has been tinkering around with it aswell says it works pretty well.

But it comes down to this for me, Hondata equals $$$$$$$$$ but you get what you pay for. Uberdata is dam cheap compared to hondata and works very well.

I think Uberdata sits just under hondata, but above the Vortec FMU's and the AFC hacks!

If the tunner knows the program, your laughing!
