Turbo question

Just got a dx with a zc dohc not to familiar with honda engines but would like to do a turbo kit for this thing.

If you can spare the time i would like to know what a good turbo setup would be and no i don't want a full kit made for 4000$ we talking junkyard turbo....well used anyways.

Thanks

pfffttt^^^ghey...do it your sefl ghetto stlye.....hf mani, 14b (slighlty bigger flows pretty good) or t25 ( kinda small) or a t3...what ever you can find in good shape in a junk yard. A sweet score is a turbo talon...jsut rape in of everything like intercooler BOV turbo maybe even injectors....then get a afc or ghettodyne if you want pretty much free hondata equivalent with launch control

good luck finding those old civic manifold cause there hard to find. I'm been looking around for this but have no luck so far. For the zc your gonna need to bore out the manifold a little bit to fit and you need a custom made adaptor plate to bolt the turbo to the manifold. For cooling you could use any intercooler on any dsm car or any factory turbo car like audi,volvo,rx7 etc.. Check out homemadeturbo.com i think they have a zc custom turbo set up on that site. Happy boosting

dont even listen to that, if you are looking to spend arond $4,000 then stay away from any and all shops, you can build your own system for a little less then that, maybe you wont have the very best equpiment under your hood, but its a start, the only part where you will need to go to a shop is to get it tuned.

forget about the 14b, unless you have a 5th gen they are a bitch to install onto a 4th gen.... the downpipe makes it rather difficult to route around the ef's front crossmember... AHH!....look at alot of the ZC's and they are running the IHI rhb5, a good turbo makes full spool @ around 2200..

BTW, I am selling a set of talon 450cc turbo injectors w/ honda resistor box.....

good luck =)
