WTB: Turbo stuff! (turbo, intercooler, etc)
Looking for turbo stuff for a home made turbo ^_^:
- Intercooler - want to mount it either under the rebar or in place of the AC
- fmu.. 12:1 ratio prefered, but again tell me what you have
- fuel pump... walbro 255lph or something along those lines
- Mandrel bends for charge pipes.. 2.5" diameter
- o2 housing or downpipe for t25? doubt any1 will have this for sale though
PM me with price if you have anything that I might be interested in
Thanks!

if you plan on doing a homemade turbo set up then use the STD manifold (88-91 civic std) or HF (88-91 CRX HF) manifold or the cx/vx manifold (92-95 civic cx/vx hatch). I believe Rockin Festiva has the STD manifold i sold him for sale. The STD is the most desirable of the 3 since it has the largest runners. If using one of these manifolds you would need to have an adapter plate made to mate the turbo to the manifold. This can be done at any machine shop.
For a turbo you could also use a 14b (td05h) off a 1st gen eclipse/talon. Or T-25 from a 2nd gen eclipse/talon. These are nice small turbo's that spool quick and are internally wastegated.
And just get an exhaust shop to custom fab a downpipe. The downpipe will vary depending on which manifold and turbo you use. Just make sure that if you do custom fab one to get an o2 bung in it.
Anyways, PM Rockin' Festiva i think he only wants $50 for the STD.

STD mani: $50
addapter plate to bolt on turbo: $50
*** K03 turbo (internally gated from 1.8T):
$100
Used cooler: 12"x10"x3" $120
for the downpipe I can have the flange for the turbo turbine housing CNC cut for $70(just for the flange). The rest of the downpipe cost depends on materials used (mild aluminized steel vs stainless)
you still need:
-oil feed/return
-coolant feed/return
-intercooler piping and couplers/clamps
-blow off valve highly recommended
-some sort of fuel management.
PM me if interested

the K03 isn't an ideal turbo for this application simply b/c of the compressor housing. Its very cluttered and not very good for an application where the turbo is on the front of the car. On the VW's the turbo is on the firewall side of the engine (the engine is mounted completely opposite of ours, intake in the front, exhaust in the back) So there are long tubes that are part of the compressor housing for the air inlet and outlet. Also, this turbo cannot be "clocked" which makes things helpful for an efficient set up. Clocking is where you rotate the compressor housing to make the compressor outlet face a more desirable direction for your application.
Anyways, i'd stick with a 14b or t-25 or t-3 or TD04. They are excellent choices and have been proven to work very well on our hondas.
****** that STD manifold off T.O. tegs though. Just make sure it has the number "3" on the #4 runner
