Tranny HELP

i blew my tranny on my d series Si motor...i was wondering if it is better to put in a DX or a si tranny back...which are the pros and cons of each if u guys know and also which one would be better for performance...

SI tranny has shorter gears, which means the car will be faster. DX will give better gas mileage.

car wont be faster.
it will accelerate faster.
