Thermostat replacement advice
Okay I've decide I'm going to try to replace the thermostat this week-end.
I see in the helms it says drain the coolant, (from the drain plug in the rad) and then undo the drain plug from the block.
Take off the hose, take out the thermostat, replace all the washers, use liquid seal on the drain plug from the engine block.
Reaplace with new honda coolant 50/50 water.
This correct???
Don't see why I have to take the drain plug out from the block.

To fully drain your coolant, you will need to drain the block plug (gravity will pull some coolant and hide it there - it is too low to escape through the radiator's plug). BUT if you're just in to replace the thermostat then I wouldn't worry about it.
