^^ let's not get into that you two...

JR sends the units out for repair, and they NEVER do warranty work, despite what they say. You have a couple of options:

http://www.superchargersonline.com/repair/

or

Manguson Products
3172 Bunsen Av
Ventura, Ca, 93003
Phone: 805-642-8833
FAX: 805-642-1936

the supercharger isn't from Jaskson racing the name jackson racing was bought by the company that produces the superscharges there is some quality issues with them and Jackson racing is staying as far away from them as possible

I ended up sending it to magnusen, it needs to be refinished, not rebuilt. It has to go back to where it can be done. I looked and looked but no one would do it. And also its not too expencive.

i heard alot of negative things about JRSC.
especially trying to keep them cool

there is no intercooler/aftercooler.
but they do offer water injection.....

but still...... i believe alot of what JRSC and there components are cheaply made

Everyone is ******* the supercharger, if someone asked you to install it on your car for a pretty minimal cost wouldnt you. I would love to go out and spend 5 gs on a turbo and have a million hp and have no problems ever. Sure the jr supercharger is not the best thing in the world, but for what I paid for it you would be happy too. I built an engene with less than half the hp gain, ran good but not real hp and it cost me more than double to do that so sc is better return for the money. Plus keeping it cool, its not a race car so I think ill be fine. Just my thoughts

i never got TOLD,

i didnt know much about the JRSC, would i put it on YES.
but i was doing research so i didnt bother asking questions.

JRSC i would definately do, i wasnt going to race it anyways, i just wanted boost, and plus, its another bolt on upgradeto my all motor performance!

how much did this cost you???
mind you i wouldnt buy it used!

ok ok, I paid a grand for that and a vtec controller. Good Deal?? I say yes. Would I have paid much more for it, no. Even getting it refinished I am still up$$. I could sell it used and make money all day long. I would only buy it used, 4gs for 6 psi of boost. You can get a turbo kit for that. And get 150 plus hp out of it but bang for the buck the used sc is the way to go. We will see how good when I get it back.

Buy a clue before you buy a supercharger.

scott newman, that's a good deal, for that little money I'd prolly do it too, if I didn't already have a pile of boost parts. who did you get it from? Slvr-Bullet maybe?

I work at a dealer and the car came in on trade, I bought it off the car. I didnt even have to remove it and install all the stock stuff, the dealer it came from did all that. Too bad it had to be rebuilt!! An older guy owned the car. Extremly clean car. Blk sir with 68k on it.

hmmm google is a friend to many

I put this in

+"jackson racing" +"supercharger" +"rebuild"

I don't have time to look through it all but the results do look promising

I could rebuild it if it needed a rebuild, bearing replacement or somthing, but it needs to be refininshed, by that I mean the ceramic is coming off of the inside area and the bore of the two cyclenders is scored. It has to be re done.
