stiff shifter

today I went to drive my car to work and I noticed on the way that the shifter was stiffer then normal ... not too stiff but stiff enough that it slowed down my shifting ... anyone have any idea what causes this?

dry bushings man... little lube never killed nobody

Pull the center console, pull up the little rubber boot, give'er some nice lithium grease and you're set.

i have some grease here..
if ya want i'll bring it out tonite..
you can borrow it and return what ya don't use..

i'll leave it with someone that'll be there late
