Shifter is very stiff

My clutch cable isnt connected anything but i dont think this has anythign to do with my problem. When i put the shifter into gears. it feels very stiff when moving the shifter around. Does anyone know what i can do to fix this? Do i need a new bushing? wd-40?..shift linkage

check your tranny fluid? i had that problem before when my tranny fluid was low.

well the motor is half way out of the car basicly..its just really stiff when im like playing around with the gears. Im not acually driving or anything. Im swapping everything. Just curious why it's so stiff

make sure the rear brake lines aren't rusted out

when shoudl you change the tranny fluid on a mt ccivic?

umm i think 50,000 miles (80,467 kilometers) ... it all depends on what type of MTF fluid your using.. i will be using Amsoil MTF.. best product out there.. they tell you that it can last up to 150,000 miles (241,401 kilometers)
