They should have each spring labelled....did you buy them used?

I don't think so. I would assume the longer/taller springs to go up front to account for the weight of the engine and tranny. The short springs should go on the rear of the car.

short ones in the front. The front end sits lower than the back. Plus, since they are shorther they travel a lot less (up and down) on acceleration and braking. If you put the long ones on the front you will experience GM broken in shocks, upon acceleration the nose of you car will go up in the air you will see the blue sky.

Taller springs go in the front. My eibach setup has the taller springs in the front and the shorter ones on the back... if you put the short ones on the front you're front bumper, oil pan, and mud guards will be touching the ground.

I'm not an expert by any means, but I'd have to agree that the taller springs would go on the front... there's more weight in the front from the drivetrain. Am I right or wrong?

Since you're getting different answers, why don't you contact a few shops that deal with springs and ask them.

I would say shorter ones go in the front to coordinate with the shorter shocks(struts). Thats just my guess.

The longer springs go up front to compensate for the heavy load of your engine, and the short springs go in the rear. The best way to find out is look at your stock springs and shocks. HTH
