Should you grease new inner tie rods?

Should you grease new inner tie rods?

Just checking, i have to replace mine next week when they come in the mail because my boot ripped. there is definitely grease in there, so should i pack it when i put the new one in.

when i look in the boot, around the joint assembly, there is just grease everywhere. im just wondering if this is from the person that had the car before me, or if the seal burst and the lube from inside is what im seeing. i guess that it couldnt hurt if i put some grease on the new one anyway.
