rides rough

i have a 96 ek... with kyb agx shocks/struts and apex lowering springs...

its sooooo rough... well, i used to have it mid way, but the ride was a little bouncy and well, i really like having it super stiff cause cornering is a breeze...

so, now the kybs are set to max stiffness and the ride is soo rough... am i on the right track that maybe its some better springs i need? there are so many out there... i was thinking eibach pro-kits... they must handle well if not better than what i have... any ideas??? could my shocks be shot?

what kind of drop do you want to maintain?

prokit= 1.4/1.3
i would recommend neuspeed sport or h & r sport for 1.75f/1.5r

I have a prokit and the ride is super comfortable. I'm soon picking up h&r sport/neuspeed sport because i want a little more of a drop. I hear both these springs handle very well and are very comfortable

h&r sports sound promising... now is it all the spring that regulates the quality of the ride in terms of smoothness... or is it the shocks too?

cause if i got the h&rs, but what should i be setting my shocks at?

maybe i need to learn a little more about what does what when it comes to springs and shocks when it comes to turning in and nimbleness... that is my concern... i like it to be nimble and have quick turn in response... is it the springs or the shocks that induce the nimbleness... i assume the springs and the shocks just smooths it out... any input?

generally speaking the stiffer the spring rate the harsher the ride, but the better it will handle. Now, which shocks you use is just as important as the spring and its rate.
I am using the tokico advanced handling kit (tokico 1.7" drop spring with illumina's) and i love it. Buying a cup kit (spring and shock designed to be used together) takes the guess work out of matching a spring and shock for a good combination.
