question: fuel injector cleaner
hey guys ,
i just bought "Prestone Super concentrated Fuel injector cleaner" from CT .. is this good ?? or i should go back and get another brand ?
AND . do i add the "cleaner" before or after i fill up the tank with gas ??

you will find that the contents of every brand in the same price category is the same. I "trust" Prolong, STP, and Marvel Mystery Oil. but tis a matter of preference. No conclusive data exists on any of those, only opinions.

except i perfer slick 50
I got 605km to my tank of gas last weekend going to montreal, engine has over 200,000km ... previous tank before the treatment was 480km city driving tho..
Monitor your fuel milage, use the product, find the one that works best..and stay consistant with your driving habits for the best comparison

I had my fuel injectors cleaned at my mechanics a few years ago... they have a system, i can't remember what it is called but it taped into the fuel system and ran white gas through the car to clean my injectors... The car run amazing after... This could also be an option if you have lots of KM on the car. My mechanice suggested this sort of hardcore cleaning every 100000 or so.
