Problem

okay so im in 5th gear going about 110 and all of a sudden i hit the gas and nothing...car starts to slow down...so at this time i click the hazards and pull over...a cpl seconds later the car is back to normal

going again this time it happens when im going 95 or so .... downshift to 4th..same deal...car is slowing down...got to about 60 b4 i could move again...throughout this whole time i was giving gas but nothing....

what could it be?

what model year is ur car and mileage?
possible its a fuel starvation. check ur fuel pressure at high speed, connect ur gauge and drive and observe ur pressure at that speed if it does do the same problem, it might be a fuel pump or clogged fuel filter. good luck

could it be something with the rain or is it all the time?
sounds almost like a ground problem or electrical system if the engine is dying....
