the spring is becoming unsettled every bump and the noise is it becoming settled again....

it could be because of a blown shock...or you have it set too low

if the car has sagged... then broken spring... I had one on my 1986 2 door Jetta... actually, I had two broken springs

If it's not all saggy like ur grandmommas *******, then could be LBJ like Buddah said. Accords are generally bad for busted LBJ. If you can't afford Honda OEM, then get MOOG ones.

yeah I agree with Buddah if you have a stock setup ..(you said coil and I assumed coilover ...I wasn't think) it's either a ball joint or a CV joint.

Actually, a faulty strut can do that as well... CV joint not as much

if indeed it is a ball joint, I'd suggest replacing it imediately...I had a customer break one entirely and lost control of his car and slammed it into the guard rails on the 404...wasn't too pretty...the tire ended up resting parallel to the road and he lost control of his car and totalled it.

yes, and a faulty or warped strut will make that sound too just as bbarbulo has stated...one good test is to jack the car up so that the wheel has left the road...grab the top and bottom of the wheel and shake it forward and back like a tieter-toter...and see if it moves...if it does, then it's a ball joint for sure...and should be repaired asap.
