Prelude immobilizer

Prelude immobilizer
A friend of mine has jus got a 2000 prelude that was a theft recovery, but the problem is that he doesnt have the key which has an immobilizer built into the key itself. Is there any way to bypass this feature? If this question is not allowed feel free to lock it

ask honda they will tell u
also , get the car towed to honda, they will program u a new key , since the car is yours/friends
sounds like fishy business to me
