pcv valve

if there oil in the intake manifold, does that mean that the pcv valve is faulty?.... after doing a compressions test and all the number are good and all the same!!!

if theres oil in the IM it means the pcv is working. It's a one way check valve.. it doesnt allow anything back in the crankcase but allows the vapours to go into the vac. source, in your case the IM.

How much oil are we talking about here?

naw, not really. there is no oil anywhere close to the intake mani where it could leak. pcv prolly, esp if you are boosted?

how much oil? it's the blowby vapours/gases from your vent. system (pcv).. or it could be your pcv isnt opening so all the vapours are exiting through the valve cover breather into your intake tube.
