I was search intake manifolds for my ZC and came across the OBX 1.6 manifold on ebay what are they like? are they good quality? does anyone have one of these on there car?

obx= generic brand.

so no Research and Development has been done on it and most likely a knockoff or a knockoff.

imo not worth it.
but if you get it for like 50 bucks then just give it a try if you like it keep it if its breaks into 10 million pieces call up teknotik and order a new motor.

just look at the design and you can tell it isn't going to work that well. the angle of the runners off the head flange is too abrupt and probably doesn't even have a radius inside. also the pipe coming off the tb flange to the plenum isn't tapered into the plenum at all which won't help air flow either. also the placement of the iat sensor block may cause a problem with running it into the firewall possibly. i'd bank on losing power if you go with that mani.

Thanks guys for your input. what would be a good manifold to go with? Were not all amazing with a tig welder like you aaron lol. How much do i have to pay you to make a manifold for me??

i wuioldn't recommend obx what so ever.. dont cheap out on important parts
