Maintaining Coilovers?
How exactly do you maintain coilover sleeves. The R1's for example. In winter can you just raise and drive as normal, or do you need some sort of lubrication on them. Or is it possible to switch back to stock springs in the winter and then back to coilovers in the summer? how long will your stock shocks last on the R1 coilovers. If you get KYB AGX's along with the R1's will the ride quality be similar to that of H&R Coilovers?

You don't.
Face it they ALL seize if driven a few winters.
Grease em up like a bitch before winter and take extra care cleaning in the winter.
Both kind's of coilovers need a removable boot or something to protect the threaded components.
Everyone I know who has tried has failed no matter how vigilant.
The record is 3 winter's.
5 adjustments.

what can happen when u dont?
also will i need a camber kit? If they stay on throughout winter what do i need to spray on them and how do i spray it, i can do it at home with the car jack right?

You will need to adjust toe everytime you change ride height..
Grease gun...

I think the camber adjustment needs to be there period..
Some will argue..
I know some people without.
Depends or rim size and offset as well..
