BB- you know since the grand theft auto, I want to drive somthing that no one will steal, hey just think, I always wanted a turbo!!! Hahaha. Really though, I specialize in Honda first secondly is Audi/VW so tools are long bought and paid for. Just think, I wont ever have to change the spark plugs!!!! 1200km to 40$ in fuel is nothing to sneeze at, its just slow as a turtle.

injectors and a chip will fix the slow part. it'll spank VR6s then.

glow plugs are $320 for the set (I replaced them on my dad's car), plus the glow plug harness (you'll know what I mean when your CEL comes on 30 seconds after starting the car). then the coolant migration into the wiring harness will also cause some concerns (unplug the temp sensor in the coolant overflow tank and check for pink fluid at the plug). oil is hard to find (Mobil Delvac 5W40) and oil filter and cabin filter are $65. rear brakes seize every year nearly... mostly cuz of the rear ebrake cables. the seat will tear at the bolster too, and the interior door handles will chip as soon as you look at them. not to mention the constant light changes all all ends of the car. then the skid pan will break and hang down tempting you to spring for the dieselgeek.com peice. of course, then the alarm will start acting up due to the bad microswitches in the door latches. the MAF sensor will cause massive power loss (replace with Piersberg unit from mercedes-benz). timing belt changes every 60 or 80K kms (auto or stick)... those are pretty $$$ too. Oh, and then the glove box door will fall off. then you'll want the GTI tail lights like I put on my dad's car cuz the stock tail lights are hideous. that's all I can think of for now... haha don't forget to clean out the snow screen too.

First of all I just changed the glow plugs, when I got it the engine light was on glow plug malfunction, all replaced for 62.00$ The oil filter is 7.00$ and oil is 14.00$ The rear brakes are new and I know about the sezing problem the pads get corroded and dont slide nicley in the caliper carrier The inner door handles are already damaged, no skid pan there t belt and water pump and coolant about 96.00$ Plus 1.5hrs to install (free of course as I have done tonnes) Glove box I just changed 46.00$. So I have covered most bases as for the price of parts, I have a supplier for vw, audi and bmw that has stellar prices. If you ever need anything lemme know BB. Thanks for the concern!! As for the chip, not gonna do it I dont want to win any races with this thing. You forgot the changing of noisy lifters!!

If they replacing the calipers, rotors and pads all for $180, then that is a good price.

OHHHHH HAHAHA it was NASTY!! lets see if I can sum this up, I had 1 fully intact pad when I took the front right tire off.. Well.. I dropped that and it broke into little pieces.. the other two were just backing plates.. And the 4th was gone.. I had takin a good quater inch off my calipers.. Both roters were shaved almost to nothing.. I blew out both calipers.. Hmm Whole bunch of nasty things.. But this is what gets me.. The one that was full pad and backing plate stilled looked good, but for some reason it was rusting inbetween the backing plate and the pad.. After taking a good look at it I'll I think these were the original brakes on the car.. The rears need to be done but I am going to a 4 disk shindig so that should help stuff out their.. Sorry I tried to get pics.. Probly better I didn't, some of you may have started to cry.. Or gotten upset with me.. I will hang my head in shame now..
